Zac's T-Maxx

Zac's T-Maxx was a 2002 Christmas present from my wife and I. It is a second generation T-Maxx with the 2.5 engine and the Wide-Maxx suspension. I can't say enough about how good of a job Traxxas has done with this truck to cover the basics. From the very well written instruction manual to the included DVD that covers the basics, this was a top notch effort by Traxxas. The next generation EZ-Start makes it a breeze to fire the truck up, and helps to easily diagnose any problems during starting.

I was a little hesitant to introduce Zac to nitro. I knew he was young and I knew I would have to do much of the tuning. However he has surprised me with what he has learned on his own. He does the majority of the work on his truck while I just supervise and guide him. He's actually become much more involved with the maintenance aspect of his T-Maxx than he ever was with his Stampede. He has been saving his money over the past few months, and before long is planning on purchasing several upgrades of his own.
