Receiver Packs

Receiver Pack Options

The Traxxas Revo comes standard with an 1100mah receiver pack. However, owners often want to use an aftermarket pack as a spare, or want to increase the overall time they can run the truck between charges. There are several options you can choose for this and, if you simply want to have a spare pack or two, the Revo’s receiver box makes swapping packs easy.

What I did, to provide me with more runtime, was to get a box of Venom 2/3A 1200mah cells, and built myself several receiver packs. One box will yield four 5-cell packs, with four left over cells. Alternatively, you can simply replace the stock receiver box with the Ballistic Batteries assembly, although it has some limitations as explained on their site.

The final option would be to simply purchase a few pre-built receiver packs. You can choose from the list of 5-cell flat packs below, if this is your choice.
