RPM Suspension ArmsReplacing the stock suspension arms with the ones made by RPM is a common practice among Maxx owners. RPM's suspension arms are a very good upgrade, and if you do manage break it, RPM will replace it. The arms themselves also come in a variety of colors, so you're sure to find something that suits your tastes.
RPM Suspension Arms There is one small detail you need to be aware of when purchasing your RPM suspension arms. You will also need a nut for each screw that secures the shock to the suspension arm. The stock configuration doesn't require this and it can be frustrating to get home and realize you don't have the materials you need to install your new suspension arms. You will need a total of 8 nuts. You can use a standard nut with a drop of lock-tite on it to help keep the nut in place, or you can use some of the Traxxas 3mm Lock Nuts. Either method will work perfectly fine. Below is a picture detailing the installation of the RPM Suspension Arms in which you can clearly see the nuts on the back side of the shock mounts.
