Shock Savers

Crescenzi Racing Shock Savers

Installation

Installing the Crescenzi Shock Savers is a breeze. The time consuming part is removing the shocks themselves. The easiest way to handle that, would be to plain the installation to coincide with some routine maintenance.

The first thing you'll need to do is to remove the shocks.

Next you need to disassemble a shock by removing the lower spring retainer, which allows the spring to be removed.

Slide one end of the shock saver over the spring, and simply twist the spring inside of the shock saver to run the saver over it's length.

Once you get the shock saver near the other end, you'll need to pull the saver over the last spring coil or two. Then center the spring in the shock saver.

Tuck one end of the shock saver into the spring, and slide the spring into position on the shock.

Tuck the other end of the shock saver into the spring, and replace the spring retainer on the shock's shaft.

Repeat the above procedure for the rest of your shocks, and you'll be finished.
