Shock Savers

Crescenzi Racing Shock Savers

Introduction

Shock savers, such as these offered by Crescenzi Racing, are often considered a dress-up item instead of actually providing a useful purpose. However they do indeed provide a very useful benefit as well, as they help keep dirt dust and other contaminants away from your shock shafts. This helps protect the seals from premature wear.

The Crescenzi shock savers are hand washable. So after several bashing sessions, you'll be happy to know that with a little cleanup they can be restored to their original color instead of the brown dirt color, that they tend to become soon after a bashing session. The Crescenzi shock savers are machine sewn, and very durable.

Crescenzi Shock Savers are available in the following colors:

  • Black
  • Blue
  • Cool Blue
  • Neon Green
  • Neon Orange
  • Neon Pink
  • Pewter
  • Purple
  • Red
  • Yellow

Because of the material used, and the fact that the shock savers are tailored to a specific application, they aren't supposed to affect the spring rate or operation. This may not be as important to a backyard basher, but is welcome news to anyone who wishes to race their truck.
