Extreme Standz Ps Stand

Introduction

I paint quite a few bodies, and while I can crank them out pretty effectively, sometimes holding the body and painting at the same time can get difficult. When small details are involved, it's easy for small hand movements to mess you up. When this happens, I often mutter to myself thinking there has to be a better way.

Evidently someone at Extreme Standz has been through the same frustration, or was really thinking ahead. This is due to the fact their Ps stand helps you in regards to painting. While it could be used for both spray cans and airbrushes, I expect that it will see most of it's use with the airbrushing crowd. This is due to the detailed painting that those with airbrushes tend to try.

The Ps stand is only offered in black, which is perfectly fine by me. After all, what good does it really do to offer a painting stand in a huge selection of colors anyway? Besides the overspray will likely change the color for you over time!

The Ps stand comes with a base, riser bar, and the frame that holds the body being painted. The frame is rugged with steel rods that the support posts slide on. The support posts can be locked into position with thumbscrews, making adjustment easy. The riser bar is hinged at two points, making it easy to adjust the body's angle for painting.

The stand also comes with rubber feet for the base to prevent the stand from sliding on smooth surfaces, and a hex wrench to tighten the screws on the riser bar, making it easy to maintain the angle of the stand. Overall, the stand looks like it will be very useful for anyone who enjoys painting their own bodies.
