Fullforce RC Sway Bars

Testing and Final Thoughts

The Fullforce sway bars are a welcome addition to a Maxx for those who are interested in increasing their handling. With the high roll center of the Maxx, better cornering ability is something that's often in short supply.

The Fullforce RC sway bars are a very easy install, and have most certainly improved the handling of my T-Maxx when it comes to cornering. Chassis roll has been greatly reduced, and while it still maintains a fairly high center of gravity, the truck handles more like a four-wheel drive stadium truck now. When jumping, if I landed with one side of the truck lower, the sway bars seemed to force the other side down a little quicker than before. It's not a problem, but does require that you react a little different when landing jumps at times. The sway bars have also proven themselves to be rather durable as well. I should also point out, that I'm using sway bar sets at both the front and rear of my truck to provide an equal benefit all of the way around the truck.

There is one drawback that you should consider with any sway bar in general, and that's suspension articulation. Due to the fact that the sway bar ties the actions of the suspension arms together to an extent, they no longer act completely independent of each other. So you will notice that your suspension travel, or articulation, may not be the same as it was before. While most Maxx trucks are not used in an environment such as rock crawling, where articulation in very important, I don't consider this to be a major drawback.

This item is a must-have for any Maxx owner who is very concerned with handling. The Fullforce RC sway bars provide one of the best and affordable methods to increase the cornering ability of the Maxx. So if that's an area you're concerned with, these sway bars are most certainly something you'll want to invest in.
