Fullforce RC Sway Bars

Installation

Installing the Fullforce sway bars is a simple task, and the walkthrough below will provide you some information regarding the overall installation. While it's not necessary, you may find it easier to remove the bumpers. This may be especially true with some aftermarket bumpers, or if you use a set of L-wrenches for the hex screws. In my case, it was not necessary, as I used my hex drivers which provided me the ability to leave the bumper installed.

The first step is to remove two screws from the shock tower, as shown in the picture below.

Next, install a cone-shaped insert into the sway bars as shown below. Keep in mind when assembling the parts that the cone will face the shock tower.

Install a sway bar onto the shock tower. Ensure the cone fits into the recessed screw hole on the shock tower. Then use a 3x16mm screw with a washer to hold the sway bar in place. Install both sway bars as shown below.

Now take the 2 standard-shaped brass inserts, and place them inside the holes for the section of the sway bar that spans the two outer bars.

Using a pair of 3x6mm screws and washers, secure the middle bar to the outer bars as shown below. I recommend using a small drop of thread lock such as this thread lock by Devcon to ensure the screw doesn't back out later.

Now you need to install the rods that link the sway bar to the suspension arms. Install one end of the supplied rods into the outer shock mounting hole on the suspension arms using 3x12 countersunk screws.

Finish the installation by securing the rod on the suspension arms to the sway bars using a 3x8mm screw. Once again, I recommend using a small drop of thread lock on these screws to ensure they don't back out later.

The finished installation should like the image below.

That's all there is to it. Now you'll just need to install the sway bar on the opposite end of the truck in the exact same manner.
