Knockoff Hubs

Sawtooth RC Knockoffs

Introduction

Do you often change tires on your truck? Perhaps you're one of those people, like myself, who has to perform frequent maintenance due to your "mad bashing skillz". If so, you probably find it annoying to have to dig through your pit box just to find the wheel nut wrench at times. Don't you wish there was an easier way?

It seems that Sawtooth RC thinks so, as they have produced Knockoff hubs for several of the most popular monster trucks. Those trucks would be the T-Maxx, Revo, and Savage. These hubs are meant to be tightened and loosened without the need for a nut wrench to even show itself. This makes removal and installation a snap!

The Knockoffs themselves come in two distinct styles: Tri-Spoke and Sawtooth. Both exhibit excellent finish and workmanship, and since they are machined from solid billet aluminum, you can be assured they are up to the rigors of off-road abuse as well. The sawtooth pattern even has two of the hubs reversed, so that when they are used on the truck they'll all be spinning in the same direction. The hubs look excellent when paired up with stock plastic "chromed" wheels, or even aluminum rims like on the T-Maxx I tested them on.
